Note about the Collective

There are many who visit this area, and some, who also hold dances themselves, like what we do and ask to hold an evening.
The Collective does not work in that way!
We are 8 regular teachers who have been involved with Collective for many years.
The teachers regularly meet and together with the wider team, have helped shape how the Collective operates.
We do have guest teachers - roughly one every 3 months.
These guests however are aware of the way the Collective operates and also work to uphold the protocols and guidelines.
If you are someone who holds dances and are visiting this area, do come dance with us – however, please do not ask to hold an evening yourself.

Oct 14th - Totnes Dance Collective Youth (TDCY)

This will be a class with no counts and no set movements. A space for young movers to dance, sparked by imaginative prompts and creative tasks.

An opportunity to relish in the joy of moving, and bask in the myriad of well-being and developmental benefits dance offers!

From contemporary and somatic/conscious dance backgrounds, the co-facilitators Saskia and Eliza support fun, challenging, and engaging sessions. Creating opportunities for children to grow and learn, about themselves and others, within a kind and creative group container.

What time? 4:15pm-5:30pm

When? Wednesday's (during term time) Where? Totnes Civic Hall

What age range? 7-12 years

No one turned away due to lack of funds: you can buy a half term block at a discounted rate, or email us to hear about bursary options.
